Another update and pics (finally)!

Last night when I called down, her nurse told me that they did feel Brooke had "too much fluid on board" so they gave her a dose of lasix (diuretic) to help get rid of it. Apparently when she changed her diaper after that, she said it was wet enough to wring out, lol. And Brooke peed all over her bed. So the extra fluid is all gone. Brooke did lose about an ounce last night and was down to 4lb. 2.4oz., but that's what they wanted to see after the diuretic. Her nurse said she was definitely looking for her bottle and that she was going crazy sucking on her pacifier and it was like she was asking for her bottle back and promising to be good. LOL.

This morning they did give her a bottle and she did great with it on room air. So they are now going to let her take bottles as long as she's doing well with them!

And here are some pics! This first batch is from Friday night (some from the "photo shoot", lol).

Trying to change her among all those wires can be quite a challenge! LOL.
